January Seminar: Democracy and Distrust: The Problem of Populism in Thucydides

About the Event
This intensive, not-for-credit, three-day seminar will include two sessions of two hours each day, with one in the morning and one in the afternoon. The Buckley Program will provide lunch daily as well as dinner the first two evenings.
There will be a moderate amount of reading for the seminar. Students will receive the readings in advance and be expected to complete them prior to each session.
The seminar is open to Yale undergraduates and graduate students. Upon successful completion, students will receive a $150 stipend.
Admission to the seminar is by application.
